I emailed a friend today to let him know that the new Slacker application for the IPhone is now available. His response was "Yeah will be checking that out...not sure how much different it is than Pandora". The only e-mail response I could think of to give back to him was "Yeah, you are right. It's virtually the same thing".

Slacker, Pandora, and Last.fm are all competing for your internet radio listening ears. Slacker is extremely similar to both Pandora and Last.fm. All three of the services now have IPhone Applications. All three services allow a user to create your own station either by name of an artist or song title.

Their has been lots of talk about Slacker being potential competition for satellite radio, in order for this to truly become a reality, Slacker will need to take the next natural step in its evolutionary process, embarking on more than just music. This would entail allowing its listeners to listen to some form of sports, comedy, news or talk radio.

Until that point in time I view it as a distant step child to satellite radio. I hope to one day be proven wrong.

Hello Kevin, I was disappointed to find the Kabbalah talk radio missing on Sirius radio. However I discovered a free one which seems to be on 24/7 here is the link http://kab.fm/eng ~ENJOY~
