Steve Harvey responds on his radio show "The Steve Harvey Morning Show" and apologizes to his fans.
Steve Harvey said on his morning show, "You ain't fittin to come along cause you new and you hot and make it something else. It is not what it is. What happened on New Years Eve was he took it upon himself to create I guess what he thought was a way to solidify his number one ranking or to be number one in comedy and spent the entire 40 minutes of his time talking about me. Which is not what people paid their money to see? I did not open my mouth about him in my 58 minute performance." Steve continued "I did 58 minutes walked off, with half the house standing"
Steve Harvey continues and apologizes to his fans, "To go up there and spend your time talking about me or whatever it was, I don’t know, god bless you brother, if that's what you think comedy is. But that is not what comedy is. It's shameful that we subjected my audience to that and I really just want to apologize to people who paid there money to see that show"
Steve Harvey is a class act that has been doing it for years. Steve is funny in his own way. Katt Williams is more of a raw and uncut type of comedian.
It seems like Katt kind of took advantage of the situation. It's interesting how only Katt Williams part of the New Years Eve performance hit the internet, while Steve Harvey's set did not. It seems like Katt Williams was trying to make a come up in the comedy rankings off the back of Steve Harvey. Perhaps Steve Harvey miscalculated Katt Williams and shouldn't have hyped up the show on Sirius XM Foxxhole Radio. Harvey played right into Katt Williams’s hands by doing so.
